One card is lying. Read the clues, eliminate suspects, and reveal the disguised Joker. Pure logic, no guessing. ONE CARD IS NOT WHAT IT SEEMS Five to nine cards sit face-up on the table. One of them is the Joker in disguise. Your job is to figure out which one using only the clues provided. Read each clue, mark cards as possible, excluded, or suspect, and reveal your pick. If you are right, the card flips to show the Joker along with a step-by-step explanation of the solution. CLUES, NOT LUCK Every case is a logic problem. Clues reference card position, rank, suit, color, neighbors, distance between cards, and value comparisons. Each clue eliminates possibilities. Applied together, they always point to exactly one card. There is no randomness and no guessing — only deduction. MARK AND ELIMINATE Tap any card to mark it as Possible, Excluded, or Suspect. Only one card can be your Suspect at a time. Work through the clues systematically, exclude what does not fit, and narrow down until one card remains. The Reveal button activates only when you have committed to a Suspect. WRONG? KEEP GOING A wrong reveal does not end the case. The attempt is counted, the card stays on the table, and you continue working the clues. Take as many attempts as you need — your best result is tracked per case. FOUR CHAPTERS, 36+ CASES Cases are grouped into chapters that unlock in order. Early chapters use five cards and three to four direct clues. Later chapters expand to eight or nine cards with chained and combined clues that require multi-step reasoning. Difficulty scales from straightforward elimination to layered deduction. HINTS WITHOUT SPOILERS Each case offers one to three prepared hint steps that walk you through part of the logic or eliminate a group of cards. Hints never name the Joker's position directly. No tokens, no cost — just a nudge when you are stuck. EXPLANATION AFTER EVERY SOLVE When you reveal the Joker correctly, a result screen walks through the solution step by step — which clues eliminated which cards and why the Joker had to be where it was. Every case teaches the reasoning, not just the answer. RESUME ANY TIME Close the app mid-case and your card markings, attempts, and hint usage are saved. Reopen and pick up exactly where you left off. Completed cases and best attempts persist locally. DETECTIVE, NOT A CARD GAME The visual style is dark and restrained — near-black backgrounds, ivory cards, and deep red accents. All card artwork is original. There are no chips, no felt tables, and no resemblance to any card-playing or wagering context. This is a detective puzzle that happens to use cards as its medium.
