Adds the theme-font screen PowerPoint for Mac never had. Inspect the typography and languages in a deck, and write a repaired copy without touching your original. Deckroom is a native macOS utility for the themes, typography and languages inside PowerPoint files. ■ The screen PowerPoint for Mac doesn't have - On Windows, PowerPoint lets you create a new theme font scheme. On Mac it doesn't. What you build in Deckroom appears directly in PowerPoint's own Fonts menu - Assign Latin, East Asian and Complex Script faces to the Headings and Body slots, then name the scheme - Edit all twelve theme color slots, with a generator that derives Accents 2-6 from Accent 1: complementary, analogous, triadic or monochrome - Before writing into the Office themes folder, Deckroom backs up the existing file, validates the new content, then replaces it atomically ■ Inspect a deck (read-only) - Overview: slides, layouts, masters, notes and handouts, and the theme behind each master - Fonts: every face in use, separated into "through the theme" and "written in directly". Open a row to reach the exact places it is used - Language: how the language tags are distributed - Audit: fonts missing from this Mac, direct formatting, unexpected languages, and masters whose themes disagree ■ Write out a repaired copy - Replace a font, change language tags in bulk, swap a whole theme, or point literal fonts back at the theme - Preview the exact number of changes, then save a copy. The file you opened is never modified - It does not rebuild your document. Only the bytes that change are patched; every untouched part is copied through in its already-compressed form, so photos, animations and embedded objects survive exactly as they were ■ It doesn't guess - Language is not judged until you mark the languages you expect - Patterns that are normal in Japanese decks (a reference to an empty slot in the theme) are never counted as faults - A "missing font" means a real name, written in, that this Mac does not have - When a face is both heading and body, you choose what happens; the default is to leave it alone ■ Respectful by design - No network communication at all: no update checks, no usage statistics, no crash reports - No data collection, no account, no ads - Runs in the App Sandbox and reaches only the files and folders you open or choose The supported format is .pptx (password-protected files are not supported). Microsoft PowerPoint for Mac is required to use the themes you build; inspecting and repairing work without it. Microsoft and PowerPoint are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation.
