Reading a label no longer confuses the winery with the wine. The small print that says who bottled it now has the last word, and a grower already in your collection is recognised on sight — even if the camera misreads a letter.

Label reading is much better at understanding what it sees: grapes split across two lines, places joined by a dash, and small misreads are now recognised. The built-in lists grew to over 400 wine regions and appellations, 200 grape varieties with their local names, and 90 countries. Sparkling wines are recognised from words like Brut or Crémant. Country is now picked from a searchable list — or typed, if yours is not on it. Photograph a bottle and the tasting date is filled in for you. The undo message after deleting a wine now disappears sooner.

No change to the app itself — this update only refreshes how Decanted describes itself in the App Store.

Statistics now show what you drink year by year, through the seasons and month by month — the styles you favour, and the countries, appellations and grapes you mostly open. Decanted now notices when a wine is already in your collection, so the same bottle is not logged twice. A different vintage of a wine you keep can be added — ask every time, or choose once in Settings. "Add another like this" is now "Add another vintage". Fixed: after deleting two wines in a row, the undo message could stay on screen.
