CHINTAN
Don't Just Consume-Contemplate
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Chintan is a different kind of news app — built for people who want to understand the news, not just scroll past it.
Every story runs through a simple loop: Read a concise, AI-generated brief so you get the facts fast. Interrogate the coverage — see the angles, assumptions, and context most outlets leave out. Take a Position — form your own view instead of borrowing someone else's headline. Debate — argue it out, sharpen your thinking, and see how others are reasoning about the same story.
Chintan pulls from a wide range of Indian and international publishers, refreshed multiple times a day, and distills each story into a clear, readable summary — so you're not stuck reading five versions of the same article to understand what actually happened.
Built especially for UPSC and competitive exam aspirants who need to track current affairs seriously, and also for anyone tired of passive news consumption looking for a sharper way to stay informed.
Features:
• AI-generated daily briefings across politics, economy, and current affairs
• Interrogate mode — surface the angles a single article won't tell you
• Position & Debate — form and defend a stance, see how other readers reason about it
• Clean, fast, distraction-free reading built for daily use
• Sign in with Google in seconds
Don't just consume. Contemplate.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
New: The Bureau – official government announcements, decoded. RBI, SEBI, Cabinet, ministries, Parliament, trade and data releases, turned into plain, verified summaries with the key number first. Find it at the end of the topics row.
Developing stories are sharper: only real developments in the timeline, with tributes, reactions and explainers neatly grouped.
Pull down to refresh for a fresh mix, and coming back from a story keeps your place.
