RainDesk: Ambient Weather
Focus through changing skies
Only for Mac

Set an intention, start a 25 or 50 minute session, and feel time pass through subtle weather, visuals, and sound without watching the clock.
RainDesk turns your desktop into a subtle weather chamber.
Choose light rain for focused work, calm fog to slow down, quiet snow for late hours, or a distant storm when you need momentum. Petals, fireflies, leaves, and dust give every scene its own presence. By default, the atmosphere stays behind your windows and lets every click pass through.
From the menu bar icon, choose from 21 scenes, set a short intention, and start a 25 or 50 minute session. The weather settles in, holds steady, then clears as the session approaches its end.
RainDesk runs entirely on your Mac:
• 12 procedural Metal effects;
• 17 local sound layers, mixed for each scene;
• no account and no telemetry;
• fully offline;
• one-time purchase, no subscription.
A native macOS app that is present when you want it and invisible while you work.
