Smart Alarms & Hijri & Qibla
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Mawqiti keeps you on time for every prayer — wherever you are, even offline.
Accurate prayer times for your location, adhan and smart alarms tied to each salah, a one-of-a-kind flight prayer planner, a Qibla compass, Hijri reminders and a Hijamah calendar, nearby-mosque search, a date converter, and home-screen widgets. Fully bilingual (English & Arabic) with complete right-to-left support.
PRAYER TIMES
• Precise daily times for Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha
• Multiple calculation methods, with madhhab (Asr) and high-latitude options, or set your own custom Fajr/Isha angles
• Next-prayer countdown at a glance
• Works fully offline
SMART ALARMS
• Set an alarm relative to any prayer — e.g. "30 minutes before Fajr" or "20 minutes after Maghrib"
• Also anchor to Sunrise, the middle of the night, or the last third of the night
• Choose the adhan, spoken announcements (male or female), gentle tones, or your own sound
• Repeat weekly or on the White Days (13–15 of each Hijri month)
• On iOS: a Lock Screen slide-to-stop, and alarms that sound through Silent and Focus
FLIGHT PRAYER PLANNER
• Flying? See when each prayer falls along your route, shown on your departure city's clock
• Combined (جمع) view for travelers, with clear prayer windows
• Grounded in fiqh — a planning aid, not a ruling
NEARBY MOSQUES
• Find mosques close to your current location, or search a different city
• Free, no-cost map search — pick a radius and switch between kilometers and miles
• Get directions in Apple Maps or Google Maps
QIBLA
• A compass pointing to the Kaaba, with distance to Makkah
HIJRI & DATES
• Reminders for Islamic dates: Islamic New Year, Ashura, Mawlid an-Nabi, Isra & Mi'raj, Ramadan, the last ten nights, and more
• A Hijamah (cupping) calendar that classifies each day of the Hijri month, with its own reminders
• Custom reminders for any Hijri day and month — one-time or repeating every year
• Gregorian ↔ Hijri date converter (Umm al-Qura)
• A shareable table of upcoming Islamic dates, browsable by year
HOME-SCREEN WIDGETS
• Next prayer with a live countdown
• The full day's prayer times
• Today's Hijri date
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Prayer times are calculated on your device
• No account, no ads, no tracking
Whether to shorten or combine prayers, and which calculation method to follow, are matters of fiqh. Mawqiti is a planning aid — follow your own madhhab or scholar.

• Bug fixes and polish.
