WorknBrief turn field notes into professional job reports, estimates, and invoices. Keep your work organized and your customers informed with the WorknBrief app. WorknBrief is a field-service organization and writing app for independent trade professionals and small service businesses. Capture customer information, job notes, photos, audio recordings, estimates, invoices, and professional PDF reports directly from your iPhone or iPad. Spend less time rebuilding job details after the work is done. CREATE COMPLETE JOB RECORDS Start a draft job with the customer's name, full address, phone number, email, trade, service type, and work details. Required-field indicators help you finish each record before it becomes active. Move work from Draft to Active and then to Completed while keeping the full history available on your device. CAPTURE THE WORK Keep written notes with each job and edit them until the work is complete. Add photos from the camera or photo library. Record audio field notes, play them back, share them, or delete and retake them. Media stays attached to the correct job so it is easy to find later. Audio transcription is not available in version 1.0. PREPARE CUSTOMER-READY WRITING On compatible devices with Apple Intelligence available, create and improve editable job-report and customer-message drafts from your notes, or translate writing between Spanish and English. Review every result before sharing. These writing features require iOS or iPadOS 26 or later and a supported device, language, and Apple Intelligence setup. Basic Spanish spelling correction remains available without Apple Intelligence; it is not full grammar correction. BUILD ESTIMATES AND INVOICES Add parts, materials, and labor as line items with quantities and prices. Apply a percentage or fixed discount. Enter the tax rate manually for each job. Review subtotals, tax amounts, totals, payment status, and amount due before producing a document. CREATE PROFESSIONAL PDF DOCUMENTS Generate job reports, estimates, and invoices with your business information and the customer's details. Include selected job photos in reports and optionally share audio recordings as separate files alongside the report PDF. Preview each PDF before sharing it through the standard iOS share sheet. WORK IN ENGLISH OR SPANISH Choose an English or Spanish interface in Settings. FIND WORK QUICKLY Use separate Draft, Active, and Completed views to follow the job lifecycle. Search active and completed records by customer and job information. Templates help start common service jobs with a useful structure. PRIVATE, LOCAL-FIRST VERSION 1.0 WorknBrief 1.0 is designed for one owner or one company. Business profiles, customer records, jobs, drafts, recordings, photos, pricing, and generated documents are stored locally on the device. The app has no WorknBrief cloud account, advertising, tracking, subscription, team dispatch, cloud synchronization, cloud backup, payment processing, or automatic tax lookup. WorknBrief supports professional organization and writing. It does not diagnose equipment, certify compliance, approve pricing, determine applicable tax rates, or send customer communications without your action. Review all job details, prices, taxes, translations, and documents before using or sharing them.
