ScoreAid
Card & dice game scorekeeper
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Keep score for the games your table actually plays. Bids, chips, phases and dice, with every rule on hand for when somebody disputes them.
ScoreAid is a scorekeeper for the games your table already plays. Pick a game, add the players, and it handles the arithmetic, the dealer rotation, and the argument about the rules.
FOURTEEN GAMES, EACH SCORED PROPERLY
Every game gets the scorecard it actually needs, not one generic grid of numbers.
• 145: twelve hands, chips, and three champions, with the red chips awarded to the right player at the end
• Spades: partnership or two-player bids, nils, blind nils, bags, and a target score
• Hearts: points, the queen, and shooting the moon
• Oh Hell: exact-bid scoring, with blind bids and screw-the-dealer when your group plays them
• Bid Whist: jokers, the kitty, uptown or downtown
• Farkle: race to 10,000, with a scoring cheat sheet for every combination
• Golf: four or six cards, lowest total wins
• Gin Rummy, Rummy and Whist: flexible scoring that bends to your house rules
• A five-dice category card that adds up its own upper bonus, lower section and extra bonuses, and refuses any score the dice could not have produced
• A ten-phase rummy variant that tracks phases and points side by side
• A partnership bidding game with a fifth suit
• Build your own: name the rounds, set the scoring, add a round timer, and ScoreAid keeps the totals
SAVE THE PEOPLE YOU PLAY WITH
Your Player Deck remembers everyone at your table, so setting up the regular game is four taps instead of four names typed out again. Two Sarahs? ScoreAid asks which is which, and only shows last names when it actually needs to. Entered someone twice by accident? Merge them, and their games come with them.
SEE WHO ACTUALLY WINS
Every finished game is recorded, so the stats can settle it. Win records and win rates, for each game and overall. Who you win with as a partner, and who keeps beating you. Longest winning streak. Best and average score in every game, counted the right way round for the ones where a low score wins.
NEVER LOSE A GAME IN PROGRESS
Up to five games save themselves as you play. Force-quit the app, take a call, or put the phone down for a week. The game is still waiting on the main screen, marked in progress, exactly where you left it.
THE RULES, FOR WHEN SOMEONE DISPUTES THEM
A rules library covering every game, readable mid-hand without losing your place in the scorecard.
DETAILS THAT MATTER AT A REAL TABLE
• Change the dealer mid-game when you started someone in the wrong seat
• Edit player names without restarting the game
• Undo any entry
• A round timer for your own games, with an alarm that still sounds on silent
• Light and dark, or just follow your phone
• Works entirely offline. No account, no sign-in, nothing to create
PRIVACY
No accounts. No analytics. Player names, scores and your whole game history stay on your device and never leave it. The free version shows a single banner ad at the bottom of the screen, with no interstitials and nothing between you and the score. A one-time purchase removes the banner for good.
Game names are used only to identify the game being scored. ScoreAid is an independent app from RedMont Labs and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher.
Ratings & Reviews
New name, same scorekeeper. GameSlate is now ScoreAid.
PLAYER DECK
Save the people you play with. Names fill in as you type, so setting up the regular game night takes four taps. When two players share a first name, ScoreAid asks which is which and only shows last names when it has to. Entered someone twice? Merge them, and their games come along.
STATS
Every finished game is now recorded. See win records and win rates for each game and overall, who you win with as a partner, who keeps beating you, your longest streak, and your best and average score in every game.
ALSO
• A round timer alarm for your own games, with four tones, that still sounds when the phone is on silent
• Dice games now ask who rolls first, rather than who deals
• Game cards jump straight to that game's stats
