Betterly: Habit Tracker & Quit

Quit bad habits, build good

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Betterly tracks change in both directions — what you are quitting and what you are building — in one calm, private app. Most trackers do one or the other. But the moment you decide to change something is rarely one-sided: you quit smoking and you start walking. Betterly treats both as equals, with the same streaks, the same badges and the same statistics. QUIT SOMETHING • A live counter of how long you have been free — days, hours, minutes, seconds • Health milestones based on public sources that show what is happening in your body right now, and what comes next • Money and time saved, adding up automatically from the day you stopped • SOS for cravings: guided breathing, your own reasons in front of you, and quick ideas to get through the moment • Every craving you resist is logged, so you can watch them get rarer BUILD SOMETHING • Check in each day and grow a streak • Pick the weekdays that count — a five-day-a-week habit is not broken by a Sunday • A month heatmap of every day you showed up, plus your completion rate • Per-habit reminders at the time you actually do the thing BOTH, TOGETHER • Unlimited habits of either kind — we never cap how many you can track • One badge system for both: 30 days off cigarettes and 30 days of running are worth the same • Longest streak is remembered forever • A slip or a missed day resets the current streak, never your history — and never with guilt PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No cloud. No sign-up. Everything stays on your phone, and you can export a backup file whenever you like. For this category privacy is not a feature — it is the condition. What you are quitting is nobody else's business. Discreet mode keeps your habit out of notification text, so a reminder on your lock screen never says what you are working on. Betterly is free. Every feature is included for everyone — nothing is locked behind a subscription. The app is supported by ads, and on iPhone you can remove them with a single one-time purchase. Betterly is a tracker and a motivator, not medical advice. Health milestones summarise public sources and describe what typically happens. If you are quitting alcohol or another substance after heavy use, talk to a doctor first. Betterly is an independent app and is not affiliated with any health authority or government body.

Ratings & Reviews

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

• A little more personality: a short line under Today, Progress and Settings sets the tone of each page. • Refined details everywhere — sheet titles in the same typeface as the pages, a leaf motif on the habit screens, and a tidier About page. • Backing up your data now feels right at home on iPad, with the share sheet opening exactly where you tap.
