• Pronunciation fixes: select a word and tap Pronunciation, or use the flag in the player, then tap the stressed vowel. You need to sign in to send a fix. Your suggestion is checked, and you can follow the result in Settings under My pronunciation fixes. • The narrator now says the chapter title before each chapter; you can turn this off in Highlight while narrating. • Lock screen: the player card and the headphone buttons are now handled by the app itself. Narration starts only on your command and does not start by itself after you unlock the phone. • Gift book without an account: Start listening now explains that the narrator voice needs sign-in and offers to sign in or create an account. Narration then starts by itself. • A chapter has the same label in the library, the player and the lock screen. • Your own books: more accurate footnotes, chapters and language. Books added earlier offer to add the file again, and your progress is kept. To get footnotes in an AZW3 book, add the file again. • Since the previous iPhone version: books from files open more completely (FB2, TXT, EPUB, PDF, ZIP), narration has fewer pauses between chapters, and Next chapter opens at its start.

• Your reading position while listening now follows the narrator. If you minimize the app or turn off the screen while narration is playing, the book reopens at the paragraph it was reading instead of at the start of the chapter. Reopening a book no longer moves you one page forward. • New formats: FB3, CBZ and CBR comics, and PRC books. You can open them in LyraReader from Files, Mail and other apps. • Comics reader: two-page spreads on iPad and in landscape, right-to-left manga, pinch and double-tap zoom, Panels mode, margin cropping. • PDF: chapters from headings, no running headers or page numbers in the text; scanned books no longer open as blank pages. • EPUB, MOBI and AZW3: footnotes no longer turn into hundreds of chapters, the table of contents comes from the book, and all co-authors are kept. • RTF, ODT, DOCX and TXT: correct quotation marks, chapters and footnotes; TXT files in cp866, KOI8-R and UTF-16 are read correctly. • If a book can't be added, the app names the file and the reason, including low storage. • Deleting an account protected with two-factor authentication asks for a code; consent to email news is now a separate checkbox.
