Find Me Matcha is a map of the cafés that actually serve matcha — and, once you are standing in one, what the matcha is really like.
THE MAP
• Every café we know of, in one place, the nearest ones first
• Filter for ceremonial grade, unsweetened, oat milk, or somewhere you can sit and work
• Search by name, anywhere in the city
• A café missing? Add it. Somebody checks it before it goes on the map.
WHAT IS IN THE CUP
• The grade they pour, how they make it, which milks they have, what it costs
• Two scores for every café: the matcha, and the room — the light, the seating, how loud it is
• Photographs of the actual drink, taken by the people who ordered it
HOW SURE WE ARE, SAID OUT LOUD
Most apps keep this quiet. Here every fact carries where it came from.
• "Matcha confirmed by people who've been" — people went, and said so
• "We think so, but nobody has been to confirm it" — we read it off the café's own website, and nobody has checked
• "Nobody's been yet" — nothing is known, and we would rather say that than guess
Nothing here is called verified, because nothing is. When the people who went disagree, the app says they disagree.
A REVIEW TAKES THIRTY SECONDS
• One photo, one rating, done. The note is optional.
• Answer a question or two while you are sitting there, and the café is better for whoever comes next
• Something wrong? Say so — a person reads it, and one report never quietly rewrites a fact
LISTS WORTH SENDING
• Want to go, Favourites, and any list you make — a route, a neighbourhood, the ones worth the trip
• Keep a list to yourself, or share it with a link
PEOPLE
• Follow whoever finds the good stuff, and their matcha lands in your feed
• Or read everybody's, which is where you find them
NO ADS, NOTHING TO BUY
Find Me Matcha is free. There is no subscription, nothing to unlock, and no advertising. We do not sell your data.
Posting needs an account — email, or Sign in with Apple or Google. You can delete it in Settings, inside the app, whenever you like.
The app speaks English, Danish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Polish, Turkish, Finnish, Czech and Greek.
Café names, addresses and opening hours come from OpenStreetMap contributors.
