Our Town Market is a serverless peer-to-peer app for local secondhand trading and giving. There is no company server at all — two devices connect directly over WebRTC to exchange listings and chat, and everything is stored only on your own device.
■ How to connect (without a server!)
1. Tap 'Create invite code' in the Me tab
2. Send the code to a neighbor via any messenger
3. They paste it, create a reply code, and you paste that back — connected!
Once connected, listings are exchanged automatically and 1:1 chat opens.
■ Secondhand trading
· Post items with photos, 10 categories, 4 condition grades
· Search, category filters, sort by newest or price
· Manage status: Available → Reserved → Completed
· Per-item 1:1 chat with quick replies and unread badges
■ Local prices (new)
Price guides usually come from a central server. Here they are computed on your device from the items neighbours have already shared with you — a low/typical/high range per category. When there are too few items, the app says how many more it needs instead of inventing a number, and it shows how many of those items actually sold.

■ Built to stay safe
Posts with objectionable wording are hidden by default and you can reveal them if you choose. Report anything you see straight from the screen, and blocking a user instantly removes their listings and chats and refuses any further messages from them. We review reports within 24 hours.
■ We collect nothing
· No account, no login, no phone verification
· No company server — collection is structurally impossible
· Your listings and chats exist only on your device and the devices you explicitly connected with
· No ads, no tracking, completely free
You connect only with people you exchanged codes with — your apartment community, coworkers, or neighborhood group — never a public feed of strangers.
