Prepare your openings, study where your opponent goes wrong, and keep your repertoires in one place, with training that brings each line back before you forget it. Chess Genie trains the positions you actually reach, using real games from players at your level. OPENINGS FROM REAL GAMES Pick an opening and the rating of the players you want to face, then play against the replies they really make, not just the engine's top move. The opening explorer shows how often each move is played at that level and how it scores. A REPERTOIRE THAT REMEMBERS FOR YOU Grow your repertoire from game statistics and engine lines, or generate one in the background, including one modeled on the way a named online player plays. Training follows a spaced-repetition schedule, so each day you review the lines you are about to forget instead of walking the whole tree again. PREPARE FOR YOUR OPPONENT Enter a FIDE ID and Chess Genie gathers that player's tournament games into a move tree. It shows the lines they know cold, the branches where they slip, and where their games tend to fall apart. It reads the clocks, too: you see which moves came instantly from memory and roughly where they leave their preparation. It also checks every line against your own repertoires, so you know exactly what to study before the round. MIDDLEGAME PLANS Study the positions your openings lead to. Choose between candidate plans and get a clear explanation of why one works and the others do not. ENDGAME TECHNIQUE Practice endgames taken from real games: a win to convert or a draw to hold, in positions where players often let it slip. PLAY ON A REAL BOARD Connect a Chessnut electronic board over Bluetooth. The app sets up each position, reads the move you play on the board and lights up the squares with feedback.
