Your public IP in the Safari toolbar: IPv4 and IPv6, provider, location, change history and a WebRTC leak test. Nothing stored on our side. Stranix IP is a Safari extension that shows your public IP address and keeps an eye on it for you. - IPv4 and IPv6 at a glance, with the provider (ASN), country and city, and reverse DNS. Copy any value in one click. - Change history: every IP change is timestamped and kept in the browser. You know when your provider rotated your address or when your VPN reconnected. - Trusted network indicator: mark the network you usually browse from (your home connection, or your VPN provider). The toolbar badge is green on it and amber anywhere else, and you get a notification when you leave it. The comparison is done on the provider, so a rotating IP does not trigger false alarms. This is a passive indicator only: the extension does not contain, configure or route any VPN. - WebRTC leak test: checks whether WebRTC exposes a different public IP than the one your browser uses, right from the popup. - Configurable badge: indicator colour, last part of the IPv4, country code, or nothing. HOW TO ENABLE Open the app once, then in Safari go to Settings > Extensions and turn on Stranix IP. The icon appears in the toolbar. PRIVACY No account, no analytics, nothing stored server side. History and settings stay in your browser. The only request goes to ip.stranix.net, our own API hosted in Europe, which answers with your IP and its provider and location from local databases (no third party). Also available for Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox.
