Send a reel, a TikTok or a short to Creel straight from the app where you found it. Creel listens to the video, writes the recipe and files it in your notebook: ingredients with quantities, step-by-step method, prep time, servings and an estimate of calories per serving. Nothing to type, nothing to scrub back through. The cook who taught it stays in the byline.
YOUR NOTEBOOK
Every saved recipe becomes a written card, filed by category and easy to find by dish or ingredient. Your recipes stay yours, even offline. Group them into collections, like playlists, and publish the ones you want to share.
WHAT'S IN THE KITCHEN
Type or dictate what you have at home: rice, half a roast chicken, two eggs. Creel reorders your notebook by what you can cook tonight, shows what is one item short and suggests community recipes when your notebook doesn't cover it.
COOK MODE
One step at a time, in type large enough to read from across the counter. Timers are pulled out of the text; tap to start. Change the servings and the quantities follow. Begin with the mise en place, and if a step is unclear, watch that moment of the original video.
BOOKS
Creators' cookbooks open page by page in the app, with a real page turn. On iPad, rotate to landscape and read as a two-page spread. Pick the paper tone, adjust the brightness, zoom into a page. Free books land on your shelf when you save them; books you bought on the website show up on their own.
EXPLORE
Collections and recipes published by other cooks, arranged by category and popularity. Follow the cooks you like and see what's new under Following. Drops you redeemed at usecreel.app arrive in your notebook with a verified mark.
MEAL PLAN
Plan the week by meal, add up the servings and generate a shopping list sorted by store aisle.
HOW IT WORKS
Each recipe pulled from a video costs one credit. You get a free credit every week, and you can earn more by inviting a friend or, in the United States, by watching a short video. Cooking, reading, planning and exploring are free.
