Meet DarkSync, the tiny menu bar app that keeps dark mode in sync across your devices. Toggle once, and the rest follow in seconds. ONE TOGGLE, EVERYWHERE Switch appearance on one computer and the others follow automatically. No more walking through every machine at sunset. WORKS WITH EVERYTHING DarkSync picks up appearance changes from anywhere: • The DarkSync menu bar icon (left-click to toggle) • System Settings and Control Center • The automatic sunset-to-sunrise schedule Whatever flips dark mode on one device, DarkSync spreads it to the rest. USES APPLE SHORTCUTS The App Store sandbox cannot change system appearance directly. DarkSync ships two Shortcuts, DarkSync-ApplyDark and DarkSync-ApplyLight, and runs them through Shortcuts Events. Add them once when asked, then DarkSync handles the rest. EFFORTLESSLY PRIVATE • Syncs through your own iCloud account • No server, no account, no tracking • Not even an app window: it lives entirely in your menu bar SIMPLE BY DESIGN • Left-click the sun or moon to toggle dark mode • Right-click or long-press for the menu • See which device last changed the theme • Launch at login and forget it is there Install DarkSync on each computer, sign in to the same iCloud account, add the two shortcuts, and enjoy the dark side together.
