Garanlabel produces the EU harmonised label for the commercial guarantee of durability — the
GARAN label — from the European Commission's own artwork, entirely on your Mac.
Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 fixes the label down to the typeface. Garanlabel changes only the
three fields it allows you to change: the guarantee duration, the brand or trademark, and the
model identifier. Everything else — the title, the EU emblem, the calendar symbol, the QR code
and the translation band in all 24 official languages — is reproduced exactly as published.

A WHOLE CATALOGUE
• Drop in a CSV from Excel, Numbers or your shop back end — comma, semicolon or tab, with or
without a header
• The columns it guessed are shown as pickers you can correct, and the counts update as you
change them
• Duplicate products are generated once; rows that cannot be labelled are listed with the
reason and the line number in results.csv
• Every run goes into its own folder, named after your file
• The first 10 batch labels are free. After that, credit packs — one credit per unique
product, whatever versions and formats you export, and regenerating a label you already made
costs nothing. Credits never expire.
WHAT IT CHECKS
Garanlabel points out what the regulation and the Commission's guidelines say about your
combination: a guarantee of two years or less is out of scope, online offers must be in
colour, the nested strip may not be printed, and the full label must carry a brand and a model.
Each note cites the passage it comes from.
NOTHING LEAVES YOUR MAC
Labels are drawn on your machine. There is no account, no upload and no analytics. The app
reaches the network only to complete a purchase.

it is not endorsed by or affiliated with the Commission or any other EU institution. It gives
no assurance of legal compliance and is not legal advice. Only the official text of the
regulation is authoritative, and whether a product qualifies for the label, and how the label
is shown, remains your responsibility. Check every label before you use it.

Half years now work on the full label. A duration such as 2,5 was refused before; it is now
set slightly smaller so it fits the number field, and the app says by how much. A warning that
wrongly treated half years as three-digit values is gone.
