Planaquí is a cultural guide to Fuerteventura, made on the island. It turns the island's festivals into clear programmes you can read, understand and plan around.
FROM A POSTER TO A PROGRAMME
On Fuerteventura a patron saint festival is announced with a poster: several days of activities, in Spanish, packed into one image. Planaquí rewrites each festival as a structured programme, activity by activity, with its own date, time and place, and a short summary written and reviewed by us in English, Spanish and Italian.
ISLAND WORDS
Over a hundred local terms explained in three languages, from 'lucha canaria' to 'enyesque', from 'verbena' to 'romería'. Words appear underlined inside the programmes: tap one and read what it means. Today's word is on the opening screen from where you can jump to the dedicated section, grouped by theme.
YOUR DAY, PLANNED
Save the activities you care about and open My plan. For each day you get the order of your activities, when to leave for the next one and how long it takes, and the historic places worth a stop nearby: chapels, windmills, lime kilns, salt pans, archaeological sites, each with its story. If two activities overlap, the plan tells you. If one ends after dark, it tells you that too.
TONIGHT NEAR YOU
From the opening screen, a map of tonight's activities within reach of where you are, or this morning's if you open it early. One pin per village, with the activities listed.
NATIVE ON iPHONE
Follow a festival and keep it on your Home Screen with a widget; a second widget shows your day. A notification the day before each saved activity at 8PM. Add an activity to your calendar in one tap, open the place in Apple Maps, share an activity card as an image with a long press. Everything you have already opened works offline.
TRUSTWORTHY BY DESIGN
Each programme names who publishes it and when it was last checked. If something is wrong, report it from the page itself, in two taps.
No account needed. Sign in only if you want your saved activities on more than one device.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
- Museum opening hours: on the place card and in the suggestions in My plan.
- "How is this event?": rate it with a thumbs up or down from the event card, on the day or afterwards.
- Festivals that have already ended now show their full programme.
- New in Settings: "How Planaquí works", "Common questions", "Rate the app" and "Licences".
- Tonight near you is clearer: it always tells you why there is no suggestion.
- Optional, anonymous usage statistics: only if you agree.
- The app now lets you know when a new version is available in the store.
- Consistent times and back arrows, plus small fixes.
