Rehearse the conversation you're dreading, out loud, against an AI counterpart who pushes back. Now with a three-line cheat sheet after every run. Three a day, free. You know the conversation you've been putting off. Telling a teammate their work isn't good enough. Saying no to your manager. Delivering news nobody wants. You rehearse it in the shower, then freeze in the room. Rehearse is a private AI role-play studio for practicing difficult conversations out loud — against a counterpart who actually pushes back. Communication skills training the night before the meeting, not in a workshop. Built for new managers, anyone negotiating in a second language, and everyone who knows what to say afterwards and never in the moment. PICK THE MOMENT YOU'RE DREADING Choose a scenario: critical feedback, a salary negotiation, a peer conflict, setting a boundary, delivering bad news — the difficult conversations at work everyone puts off. Or describe your own situation in a sentence and the studio builds the counterpart — their role, their stake, their reason for being difficult — and shows you the draft to correct before you begin. Set how hard they push, from cooperative to hostile, and name one goal for the run. HEAR THEM BEFORE YOU START Every counterpart keeps one voice in every scenario and every language. Tap once on setup and hear them speak their opening line. TALK TO SOMEONE WHO PUSHES BACK Your counterpart has a name, a role, a stake in the outcome, and a reason they're difficult that they won't hand you. Push too hard and they walk out; land the right line and they open up. Speak your turn or type it. GET A DIRECTOR'S DEBRIEF When the scene ends you get one takeaway sentence first, then scores across clarity, empathy, firmness and structure, notes on the lines that worked and the ones that didn't, and a stronger version of your shakiest sentence. WALK IN WITH THREE LINES Boil any debrief down to a cheat sheet: your opener, your answer to the objection that got you, and your ask — plus the words to drop. Save or share it as a card of lines only, never the transcript or your scores. WATCH THE HABIT MOVE Progress keeps your four scores over time and surfaces the one pattern that matters: how often your first direct ask arrives late, after the fourth turn. Session history keeps every run by week, searchable by scenario or name, and any past debrief reopens. PREP FOR THE REAL ONE Add a real meeting's date to any scenario and get a prep card: your opening line, the three pushbacks they're likeliest to throw at you, and your walk-away point, which never leaves your phone. Start a rehearsal right on the pushback that still trips you up, aim for three runs before the day, get one reminder the evening before, and afterwards answer one question: how did it go? The Real ones tab keeps every conversation you're preparing for, with a countdown and how the past ones went. REHEARSE IN YOUR OWN LANGUAGE Seventeen languages — English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Vietnamese, Indonesian and Hindi. The counterpart speaks yours and the debrief is written in it. Rehearse in a second language before you have to — English conversation practice with real stakes. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account. No sign-up. No social feed. What you say during a rehearsal is kept only while the scene runs and is never shown to anyone else. Report any line, debrief or scenario you find objectionable, and delete anything you generated — from your phone and our server. FREE AND PRO Free: three rehearsals a day, the starter scenarios, your scores, the audition, and two prep cards a month. Pro: unlimited rehearsals, the full scenario library, scenarios you write yourself, studio-quality voices for every counterpart, the annotated debrief with its cheat sheet, and up to ten prep cards a month. The conversation is happening whether you're ready or not. Be ready.
