Halloween season is here. Get lost in the Backrooms as the wiki describes them: no run repeats, your water runs out, and what hunts you hears you. No account, no ads.
You have noclipped out of reality. There is no way out. There is only how far you descend.
No Outlet is a survival game set in the Backrooms exactly as the wiki documents them. Every level, entity, and object comes from the canon, and every descent is generated fresh. The same level is never the same place twice.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Walk. Listen. Read what is written on the walls.
2. File what you learn at a M.E.G. post and trade it for supplies.
3. Decide how much deeper you can afford to go.
WATER IS THE CLOCK
Thirst never stops, not even under water. Bottles are scarce, part-full ones may not be water, and every level has its own economy. Going deeper means risking hard-earned supplies.
SOUND IS HOW YOU ARE FOUND
Running is fast and loud. Sneaking is slow and silent. Everything hunting you is listening, and your light can draw them too. Sound is your first warning, and usually your only one.
THE DEPTHS, AS DOCUMENTED
Facelings, Smilers, Hounds, Dullers, Deathmoths, and the rest behave the way the articles say they behave. Watch one long enough to file it, and the archive page reveals helpful details about it.
BUILT FOR A PHONE IN A DARK ROOM
Left thumb walks, right thumb looks, tap to act. Landscape on iPhone, either way up on iPad. Works offline.
OPTIONAL GAME CENTER
One leaderboard for how far down you got, and nineteen milestones for the hours behind you, the ground covered, and what you survived. Decline it and the game never mentions it again.
NO ACCOUNT, NO ADS, NO SUBSCRIPTION
Nothing to sign up for and nothing to unlock. Your runs and the archive stay on your device. Nothing about you or how you play leaves it, except your score and milestones if you sign in to Game Center, and a bug report if you choose to send one. The game checks nooutlet.app for updates, and that check carries nothing about you.
