Fixed a bug where rewinding a week right after an offseason could undo the whole offseason instead of just the week: the draft, free agency, and every signing could be lost. Rewinds now only ever undo the week you just played. Fixed a salary cap bug: restructuring a contract and then extending the same player could erase money the deal still owed, instead of carrying it forward. Fixed trade math: dead money from a trade now matches what a straight release would cost, and a player you acquire only counts his salary against your cap, not his old signing bonus too. The AI front offices now value a trade package more carefully. A handful of role players no longer adds up to a true star. Fixed a bug where rewinding a week could take back tokens you had just bought or earned from a rewarded ad. Season League careers no longer allow rewinding a week, so the leaderboard reflects one real season for everyone on it. Quarterbacks, kickers, and punters now have careers that better match real aging, with fewer of them retiring in their early thirties. You can now release a player with a post-June-1 designation, not just a straight cut. New ways to earn tokens: an ad after a good week doubles what your objectives paid, and each stage of the offseason offers one too. Deep Scout, Agent Insider, and Rival War Room now cost 2 tokens. New: a Starter Bundle (tokens plus Token Boost, one time) and a 200-token pack, the best value in the shop. Save files are smaller and load faster, especially in long careers.

Fixed layout issues on smaller phones (a cut-off button in game recaps, cramped headers, sideways scrolling on the player card). Rebalanced the token shop so buying more than one pack is never a bad deal. The season pass can now be started from any point in a career, not just a new one.

Fixes for the kind of problems that can stop a career in its tracks, and a lot more to read along the way. Careers that could get stuck Going over the salary cap could leave a club with no legal way back and no way to continue. That cannot happen now, and if you are already stuck there is a one tap way out. The same kind of dead end at the coaching hires, for a club that had run out of cash. Two ways a save could quietly go missing when the app was closed at the wrong moment. Rules the game was not keeping Compensatory draft picks now actually arrive on draft day. They were being awarded, announced, and then dropped before the draft. Trades and waiver claims now check your cap room first, the same as every other move already did. Activating a player off injured reserve respects the roster limit. Reading the season Touchdowns, injuries and the owner’s end of season verdict all have far more to say. Your owner now speaks in his own voice rather than everybody sharing one. Other Fixed a bug where the screen could stop scrolling until you restarted the app. The rewind is now offered on the game you just lost, instead of being buried. Season League 2026-27 carries a fuller calendar and fourteen scenarios.

A trade confirmation screen: before any deal goes through, see both sides of it, the cap impact, and any dead money it creates. Fixed: late in a close game, a trailing team no longer kicks a field goal that cannot possibly tie or win it. Fixed: teams go for it from the goal line far more often now, matching how real coaches actually play fourth and one or two from the one or two. Fixed: safeties and two-point conversions now show up correctly in the box score and the stat lines. Fixed: a rare accounting issue on a fumbled run could understate a team's own rushing yards. The championship game is now played at a true neutral site, with no home-field edge for either side. Smaller fixes to gameplay balance across every coaching setting, and to how often the computer drafts kickers and punters too early.

Your owner has a personality now, the league has a history, and the offseason tells stories of its own. Owners: every club's owner has a temperament. Some want a winner now, some want a young team they can grow, some are watching the books. It changes the goals they set and how fast they run out of patience with you. Franchise value: see what your club is worth, where it ranks in the league, and which of the things a buyer pays for (market, history, stadium, titles) is carrying it. Naming rights: sell the name on your stadium for five seasons at a fixed fee. The money is real and so is the grumbling, and fans of a club with a long history take it hardest. The game changes over time: across a long career the league drifts between passing eras and running eras, and every so often it changes a rule and says so on the wire. League, History shows where things stand. Offseason storylines: the owner wants a hole filled, a veteran on a big contract wants to know if he is safe, and your best expiring player wants to know where he stands. Answer them, then find out how it went at training camp. Fixed: a storyline answered late in the season could stay open for good and quietly stop new ones from appearing for the rest of a career. Careers affected by it are repaired the next time they load. Faster: playing a week now does less work behind the scenes.

Mostly speed, and two bugs that could quietly spoil a career. Starting a career is close to instant now. Building a league used to take up to three and a half seconds with the screen frozen, and the same freeze hit again at the start of every new league year. The part doing the work was the fixture scheduler, which has been rewritten: the same 272 games, packed the same way, roughly a thousand times faster. Nothing about the schedules themselves has changed. Fixed: rewinding a week could take back a pack you had bought during that week, and relock it until you restarted the app. Fixed: a rare failure while building the calendar could write a season where every club played all seventeen games in week one. It never made it into a real save, but nothing would have told you if it had, so there is now a check that a season is actually playable before it is written. Fixed: the button that starts a career could sit on "Building the league..." and never move on, with no way out but closing the app. New: if something does go wrong, the game now keeps a record of it on your device. Front Office, Settings shows it, and nothing is sent anywhere unless you tap send. New: sound. A whistle on the week, a note on the result, a short one when a decision lands. There is a switch in Front Office, Settings if you would rather not.

A maintenance release, and a big one under the hood. Saves no longer fail quietly. They are compressed now, and if a save ever does fail you are told rather than losing the run. Penalties that wipe out a play no longer keep that play's statistics. Fixing that turned up a second problem it had been hiding, so the run game has been recalibrated: yards per carry, completion rates and sack numbers all sit closer to the real thing. The trade market is a market. The other 31 clubs now trade with each other, so the league moves without you. Three ways of squeezing the trade computer are closed: contracts, positional need and future picks are all priced properly. The money holds up over a long career. Club revenue rises with the salary cap, so clubs no longer run themselves broke over a decade and then find they cannot afford to hire a coach. Practice squads clear out. Players on them used to get a year older forever and never leave. Two storylines that were listed but never actually ran are now in the game: the MVP race, and facing a player you moved on. And when a club great retires, you get the chance to talk him out of it.

A big one. Storylines that open telling you what will decide them and pay off weeks later. A full coaching staff beyond your coordinators, on the same ladder that poaches your best hires. A three week training camp: pick what it's for, back a man in a position battle, then a real cutdown day. A league desk showing what the other 31 clubs are doing every week, not just your own. Compensatory picks and restricted free agency when the market takes more than it gives. Contract incentives, so you can pay for what a player does instead of only who he is. Pro days and interviews that can turn up a steal the consensus board missed, or expose a bust before you draft him. A real trade deadline that actually changes the market as it nears.
