bibkeeper is the timing app for small to mid-size competitions — ideal for long-distance events, trail runs, backyard ultras and any race where runners don't cross the finish line in big bulks.
GET STARTED IN SECONDS
1. Connect an existing SPOFERAN or resultastic event, or start free mode.
2. Start the event with a mass, group or individual start.
3. At the finish, record each runner's bib number from a quick-pick list or by scanning it.
Done — results are calculated automatically and available live on SPOFERAN, plus a local export.
MILLISECOND PRECISION WITH TWO-PERSON TIMING
Use two-person mode to split time and bib capture perfectly between two people: one taps “Record time” the instant a runner crosses the line — pure reflex, millisecond precision. The second person, in the finish chute with a second device, calmly records the bib numbers in order, either from a pre-filled quick-pick list or by scanning the runner's bib code (bibcode) with the camera.
bibkeeper merges the times and bib numbers automatically — results are then available online in real time.
A CHEAP ALTERNATIVE TO RFID CHIPS
No timing mats, no chips, no equipment rental: one or two smartphones replace expensive RFID hardware — no technical staff required.
Timing with live results through bibkeeper costs just €0.10 per participant for a published event; test events and free mode are always free.
That makes bibkeeper the preferred timing tool for small to mid-size competitions, where expensive RFID hardware doesn't pay off.
