SIGNAL ARCHIVE is a quiet exploration game about gathering, out of those signals, the fragments of things that should have existed.
■ Walk, collect, bring it home
Scan while you are out, and fragments of relics surface from the signal density around you.
Analyse them back home, and an object that was only a black silhouette slowly regains its outline, until you can tell what it was.
Pick up the same thing again and the reconstruction goes further.
The more of its shape returns, the more of the record about it you can read.

A cassette tape. A disposable camera. A watch stopped at 07:14.
Every one of them should be something you recognise. Yet the further you read into the records, the less things add up.
As the survey descends into deeper layers, the description of a relic you already collected can be rewritten.
Something you first filed away as a familiar old object is reclassified under another name.
Only then do you understand what the description you read first actually was.
■ This place, this day only
A sector can be measured once a day.
Walking to widen your range is, in itself, how the survey advances.
There are three bands to choose from. Reach wide, or search deep.
You get one attempt in that sector today, so the choice you make is already the result.
■ Made to be played quietly
・You do not need to keep looking at the screen while walking. A scan can be run standing still
・No notifications that push you to hurry
・No stamina, no login bonus, no leaderboards
・No matches, and no contact with other players
■ Privacy
・There is no developer server. Every record is stored only on your device
・Location is used only to work out which "sector" of roughly 153 m square you are in; latitude and longitude are discarded immediately after the conversion
・Bluetooth counts only the number of signals around you. Device names and identifiers are neither shown nor stored
・From Wi-Fi, only the name of the network you are connected to is read, and it is hashed on the device before being saved
・No advertising SDK and no analytics SDK are used
■ About the purchase
The first layer can be played to the end for free.
Beyond that, a single one-time in-app purchase unlocks the rest at once. It is not a subscription.
■ Apple Watch / Widgets
Apple Watch lets you scan from your wrist, picking up fragments as you walk without taking out your iPhone.
The widget shows how far the survey has come, and tells you when the day's measurement is available again.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
- Artifacts can now be handled and examined. Turn the reels of a cassette, tilt a disc, cycle a display.
- You can now track a single record. A tracked record turns up more often during exploration.
- The survey can begin without allowing Bluetooth. A calibration signal stored in the device can be analyzed instead.
- After analyzing several fragments at home, the overall result is shown first.
- Reanalysis now reaches the shallower layers. The description you read first is rewritten for more artifacts.
- The ending now includes a moment where you choose what to examine next.
