WordJam is a word-building tile game with a bigger board, a bigger more tiles, and a few twists to the classics.
Build real words on a sprawling 19×19 board — much larger than the usual 15×15 — using an 8-tile rack instead of the standard 7. Every word is checked against a full built-in dictionary, so there's never any doubt about what counts.
PLAY YOUR WAY
- VS CPU — play solo against a built-in opponent that always finds the best word it can from its own rack, no easy/hard toggle needed
- 2-Player Pass & Play — hand the device back and forth with a friend on the same phone or tablet, no internet or accounts required
TWIST TILES YOU WON'T FIND IN OTHER WORD GAMES
- −25 Penalty tiles — land a word through one and your opponent loses 25 points
- Skip tiles — land a word through one and your opponent's entire next turn is skipped
- Dead Spaces — permanent gaps that force you to build around them, not through them
MORE WAYS TO PLAY A TURN
- Swap 1 Tile — trade a single tile for a fresh one, free, once per turn
- Swap Blank — drew the letter a blank on the board is standing in for? Swap it in and reclaim the blank as a wildcard again
- Swap My Tiles — exchange your whole rack when nothing in it works
- Destroy a Word — once per game, clear an opponent's word off the board and send its tiles back to the bag

- Pick your board size — 66%, 80%, 100%, 115%, or 130% — and it's remembered every time you open the app
- Full end-of-game score breakdown, so a close finish never leaves you wondering how the final score was reached
