Mahjong Monsters is a dungeon RPG you fight with mahjong solitaire.
Match tiles in pairs and your monsters attack. Collect monsters from the enemies you defeat, raise them, and push deeper into the dungeons.
■ Mahjong solitaire is the battle
Take a tile that has nothing on top and is open on the left or right, and pair it with a matching tile to clear both. The tile you clear decides the attack's element: characters are fire, dots are water, bamboo is wood, honors and 1s/9s are Hume. Match flower or season tiles to heal your party.
The enemy's gauge fills over time, and when it's full, you get hit. Tapping a tile you can't take fills it too, and filling the tray means heavy damage. Which tile you clear first is what wins or loses the fight.
Clear every tile on the board and your leader unleashes its finisher, named after a mahjong hand.
■ Collect and raise monsters
Slimes, dragons, golems, mermaids and many more families of monsters. Defeat an enemy and you can win a monster from the same family, or an item.
Fuse to raise levels, and once a monster hits its level cap, evolve it into its next form with evolution items. From Common to Legendary, every form has its own artwork.
Build a deck and pick a leader. Fire, water and wood beat each other in a triangle, with Hume standing outside it. Every monster you obtain is recorded in the Dex.
■ Deeper into the dungeons
Start on the hills and in the forest, then head for caverns, volcanoes, snowfields and the seabed. The deeper you go, the bigger the boards and the harder the enemies hit, with mid-bosses and bosses waiting along the way.
Event dungeons open by day of the week, each with materials and treasures you can only get that day.

Free Play lets you play a wide range of layouts without battles, with a time limit and a hint button.

- Your save is backed up to iCloud automatically. After a reinstall, choose a save to restore in Save Data. A transfer code carries it to a new phone

Mahjong Monsters is free to play. An ad may be shown after a battle.
In-app purchases:
- One-time: remove ads, a bigger monster box, more deck slots
- Consumable: forced evolution (evolves a monster into its next form), stamina refill
In-game gold and monsters are never sold directly.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
- You can now get a notification when your stamina is full (turn it on or off in My Page settings).
- In early stages, tapping a tile you can't take now dims the blocked tiles so they're easier to spot.
- The Event tab now shows a loading indicator while it checks the time.
- Fixed the stamina shown in the Shop not updating as it recovers.
- Fixed buttons at the top of the screen overlapping the window controls when the game runs in a window.
- Other minor improvements.
