Jewposter brings Jewish culture, food, and history to a shared-device social deduction game. Play with your group, get comfortable with unfamiliar references, and keep learning between rounds.
START WITH CONFIDENCE
Turn on Easy Mode right on the home or setup screen. It selects 60 familiar prompts, including Hanukkah, challah, and Moses. Players who receive the word also see a plain-language explanation. The imposter sees the category and must bluff.
LEARN TOGETHER, THEN PLAY
Choose “Learn together first” to read six learning cards as a group before roles are dealt. The secret is chosen from those words, so everyone—including the imposter—starts with a shared vocabulary. Take your time, ask questions, then begin.
A LIBRARY FOR THE REFERENCES
Explore all 60 learning cards without starting a game. Search by word or meaning, filter by category, and save unfamiliar words for later. Practice with revealable flashcards. After a round with a learning word, revisit its meaning and discuss which clue made it click.
HOW TO PLAY
• Gather 3–20 people around one iPhone or iPad.
• Use default player numbers or enter names.
• Choose culture, food, history, or a mix.
• Pass the phone for private role reveals. One player gets no secret word.
• Give one short clue each, discuss, and vote.
• Choose private ballots or point together and record the totals.
• A tie gets one runoff. Catch the imposter, and they still have one spoken guess to steal the win.

Turn off Easy Mode and the group warm-up to explore the full 325-prompt collection. The 60 starter cards provide short introductions; customs and traditions vary across Jewish communities.
