Bewerbung AI is not a chat window. You do not end up with text you still have to format. You end up with a finished application as a PDF: a one-page cover letter following DIN 5008 Form B and a tabular CV — exactly what recruiters in Germany, Austria and Switzerland expect.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Capture the job ad: photograph it, paste a link, or paste the text. The AI extracts company, role, requirements, contact person and reference number.
2. Set up your profile once — or upload your existing CV as a PDF or photo and let the app take the data from there.
3. Answer three to five follow-up questions.
4. Share, print or email the cover letter and CV as PDFs.
THE FOLLOW-UP DIALOGUE
This is the real difference. The app compares the requirements in the ad with your profile and asks precisely where evidence is still missing: "Which project demonstrates your experience with cost accounting?" Your answers become sentences that fit no one else. Generic applications are recognised instantly — this is how you avoid writing one.
DIN 5008, to the millimetre
DIN 5008 defines the layout of German business letters: where the address field, information block, subject line and body belong. A letter built from a US template is spotted immediately. Bewerbung AI sets the measurements exactly — 24.1 mm left margin, address field at 45 mm, subject line at 98.46 mm.
GERMANY, AUSTRIA, SWITZERLAND
The country switch changes more than a word. Austria: Matura instead of Abitur, Lehre instead of Ausbildung, Jänner instead of Januar. Switzerland: no ß, "Freundliche Grüsse", different conventions for photo and date of birth. Germany: the familiar form.
