Bad Caddie gives you useful golf information with none of the hushed reverence. It combines live GPS yardages, club suggestions, scorekeeping and hole maps with a caddie that has seen every shot—and has opinions.
PLAY ON iPHONE
Bad Caddie is fully usable on iPhone. Select a course, choose your tee, record clubs and shot types, add penalties and putts, view the hole map, and keep the complete scorecard without needing an Apple Watch.
ADD APPLE WATCH WHEN YOU HAVE ONE
The companion Apple Watch app keeps the essentials on your wrist: current hole, par, shot count, live yardage, suggested club and shot type, club selection, penalties, putting, scorecard and a perspective hole map. The watch uses its own location when available and synchronises the current round with iPhone.
A CADDIE THAT LEARNS YOUR GAME
Start with sensible club-distance estimates or enter your own range figures. As you record real shots, Bad Caddie learns the distances you actually achieve and improves its recommendations. Suggestions can include both the club and the type of shot—full, three-quarter, punch, pitch, chip, bump and run or flop. Your learned figures remain visible in your bag.

Bad Caddie searches OpenStreetMap course data and keeps recently used courses available. If a course or hole is incomplete, you can import a scorecard image, enter missing details and privately map tees, pins, doglegs, bunkers, water and trees as you walk the course. Your personal mapping stays on your device unless you choose to export and share it. Course and round import/export are included with Lifetime Unlock.

Choose supportive, sarcastic or ruthless banter, or turn speech off when your swing has suffered enough. On supported devices, Apple Intelligence can create fresh on-device remarks. Competition mode disables club recommendations and related banter when assistance is not appropriate.
EXPLORE BEFORE YOUR ROUND
Explore Mode demonstrates the complete iPhone and Apple Watch experience without consuming your free round. Try club and shot selection, penalties, putting, scorecards, maps and device synchronisation. Practice data is cleared only when GPS places you at the starting tee and you confirm a club; that action starts your one included round. A single lifetime unlock then removes the round limit. No subscription.
