Type a few words and the screen becomes a scrolling dot-matrix LED sign, bright enough to read across an arrivals hall, a dance floor or a warehouse aisle. No sign-up, no account, no menus to learn. Open it, type, hold it up.
Or draw the sign yourself. Paint the panel bulb by bulb with a finger and hold up an arrow, a heart, a symbol or a shape no font has. Drawing is free.

A real dot-matrix panel: a fixed grid of round cells, lit cells glowing, unlit cells still faintly there, so it reads as a physical sign rather than as type on a screen.

One purchase, once. Not a subscription. Pro is control over how the sign looks:

SAFE TO LOOK AT
Nothing in the app flashes faster than 3 Hz, and that is true in both tiers. Reduce Motion is honoured, and there is a separate Reduce Flashing control if you would rather not change a system setting. Flash safety is never something you have to pay for.
NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE
No account. No server. No analytics. What you type and what you draw stay on the device: never uploaded, never logged, never attached to a report, never sent anywhere. The app has no backend of its own - the only network it ever touches is the App Store, handling your Pro purchase and restore. A sign can be a name, a phone number, a medical note or a slogan, and none of that is anyone else's business.
