LegendLock Motto Desk is an interactive coin-legend expansion and royal-title formula studio for world-coin collectors, estate sorters, and inherited-jar hunters. Expand abbreviated Latin, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and English mottos on crowns, minors, and trade pieces into full readable phrases. Every screen ships complete on cold start with dense built-in reference—no thin placeholders, no guesswork.
This is a pure epigraphy-and-motto utility. It is not a collection inventory, mint-mark ID tool, melt calculator, capsule guide, calendar converter, edge-reed reader, caliper app, mint-error triage kit, die-axis tool, or heraldry blazon matcher.

Explore a fully seeded atlas by language family: Latin royal formulas, Spanish imperial titles, French republican mottos, Portuguese colonial legends, and English commonwealth phrases. Open expansion cards with word-by-word glosses, common abbreviation variants, and where the legend usually sits on the coin.
Run the Motto Resolver
Type the letter fragments you can actually read on a physical piece. Receive ranked full-phrase candidates with match-strength cues and alternate readings when letters are ambiguous.
Rebuild legends with drills
Assemble disordered motto fragments into the official phrase. Each exercise card shows a clear progress bar and saves completion state locally.
Study essays and take quizzes
Read styled multi-paragraph reference essays on legend formula history, D.G./F.D. royal chains, colonial motto patterns, and common mis-expansions—distinct title zones, thematic accents, no serial numbering. Then take scored multi-question quizzes on abbreviation families with randomly positioned answers, green/red feedback that stays tappable but inert after your choice, plus last-score and best-score blocks on every quiz card.
Save Active Decode cards
