Unfried gives everyone the same topic each day. Learn it in 2 or 5 minutes, then explain it back in your own words, out loud or by typing. You get a score for what you actually understood, not for how long you looked at the screen. Try today’s topic before you make an account.
HOW A DAY GOES
• The Daily Fry: one topic, same for everyone. How ants organize a colony without a leader. Why the sky is blue but sunsets are red. How vaccines teach the immune system.
• Pick 2 or 5 minutes. Five earns a commitment bonus.
• Serve It Back: when the timer ends you have 30 seconds to start explaining what you learned. Record it or type it.
• Results: Understanding out of 100, a depth bonus, and one line on what you nailed or missed.
• Brain Food adds up. Keep your streak, pick your breakfast buddy and see where you land on today’s podium and the all-time leaderboard.
• Optional reminders in the morning, or before the day ends.
WHY IT WORKS
Trying to explain something is the quickest way to find out whether you understood it. Unfried makes you do that once a day, on a topic you didn't pick, in less time than one video.
TOPICS
Biology, physics, history, psychology, technology, economics, music and art. Short, checked against sources, and written to be explained.

Monthly or annual, with a free trial where eligible. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
