Mosquito in the room? Open the app and start a sound in seconds. Eight frequencies, a timer, and background audio so you can lock your screen and put the phone down.
Annoyed by a mosquito? Open Mosquito Off and start a sound frequency in seconds.
No setup. No account. No menus to dig through. You open the app, tap START, and put your phone down.
WHAT IT DOES
Mosquito Off plays a continuous high-frequency tone through your phone's speaker. Choose from eight frequencies between 15 kHz and 22 kHz, set a timer, and let it run.
BUILT FOR THE MOMENT YOU NEED IT
It's the middle of the night, you just heard that sound, and you don't want to read a tutorial. Everything lives on one screen: the frequency picker, the timer, and one big button.
LOCK YOUR SCREEN — IT KEEPS PLAYING
Start the sound and put your phone face down. The audio keeps playing in the background with the screen off, and it won't interrupt music or a podcast you already have going.
SET A TIMER
15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or no timer at all. The sound stops on its own so your battery doesn't run down overnight.
CHANGE FREQUENCY WHILE IT PLAYS
Tap a different frequency and it switches instantly — no gap, no click, no restarting.
WHAT'S NOT IN HERE
No sign-up. No subscription. No permissions for your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photos. The app is free and supported by ads.
EFFECTIVENESS DISCLAIMER
The effectiveness of sound frequencies for repelling mosquitoes has not been scientifically established. Results may vary. This app is intended for experimental and entertainment purposes and is not a substitute for proven mosquito protection methods.
AUDIO SAFETY
Avoid listening at high volume for extended periods. Stop using the app if the sound causes discomfort. For the best experience, adjust your device volume to a comfortable level.
