The Babel Cipher is an offline word-building puzzle. Spell a word from the eight letters in your rack and your tiles move across a procedurally generated grid, the longer the word the further you travel. Burn a path to the exit to complete the level.
Each new word must begin with the last letter of the one before it, so you are not just finding one good word, you are keeping a chain alive. Break the chain too many times and the run ends, so the challenge is balancing bold, long words against safer, shorter ones.
Play in Easy, Medium, or Hard difficulty, each with its own chain-break allowance, and see how far your score climbs in endless mode. Stuck with an unworkable rack? Reshuffle your letters at a small score cost. Local high scores keep track of your best runs, with no leaderboard account required.
The Babel Cipher is designed to be approachable: a short interactive tutorial explains the rules before you start, difficulty settings let you match the pace to your own comfort, and there are no ads, no in-app purchases, and no user accounts. It works entirely offline and collects no personal data.
