FrameBench is a bench-side calculator for picture framers. Enter the artwork size and get every number you need before you cut: mat window, glass, rabbet opening, outside frame and both the long point and short point of every 45° rail.
Built for the way framers actually measure:
• Type inches the way you write them, such as 13 5/8, 13-5/8 or 13⅝, and read results to the nearest 1/8″, 1/16″ or 1/32″
• Switch between inches, millimetres and centimetres at any time
• Set a weighted bottom mat, per-side overlap, fit clearance and rabbet overlap
• See the frame drawn to scale, so a wrong number looks wrong before it costs a stick
CHECKED CUT WORKSHEET
Every rail shows its outside long point and inside short point. The worksheet also lists the mat outside, glass and backing size, rabbet opening and the total moulding with your waste allowance.
WORK ORDER PDF
Share a clean work order with checked dimensions and your shop notes. Add your workshop name and contact line once and it appears on every document.
SAVED JOBS
Keep jobs on the device with a customer reference and workshop notes, then reopen them when the client comes back.
