ORIGO: SMS Phishing Detector
Check Suspicious SMS & Links
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Got a suspicious SMS, message or link? Check it with ORIGO to spot phishing, impersonation and compare the source with official channels before you tap.
Received a suspicious SMS, message or link?
ORIGO helps you check before you tap.
Instead of guessing whether a message is real or fake, ORIGO analyzes the content, looks for phishing and impersonation signals, and compares links and claimed organizations against official sources.
The goal is simple: help you understand what is really behind a message and guide you toward the official source instead of relying on the link you received.
What can you check with ORIGO?
• Suspicious SMS messages
• Links before opening them
• Text copied from messages, email and messaging apps
• Messages impersonating banks, card issuers, delivery companies, government services and well-known services
• Domains designed to look similar to official websites
• Unusual requests for payments, account logins, verification codes or sensitive information
How ORIGO works
1. Share or paste a message, text or link
2. ORIGO analyzes the content and destination
3. The information is compared with known official sources
4. You receive a clear result with the evidence behind it
5. When available, ORIGO directs you to the official source
Clear results you can understand
• High Risk — strong signs of phishing, impersonation or dangerous behavior were detected
• Suspicious — meaningful warning signs were found
• Unverified — there is not enough information to verify the source
• Official Source Match — the checked channel matches an official source known to ORIGO
ORIGO does not use misleading "100% safe" scores. Instead, it explains the evidence behind each result.
Smarter link checking
ORIGO can analyze the registered domain behind a link, shortened links and redirects, whether a domain matches the organization being claimed, lookalike domains, and known threat-intelligence signals.
Compare against official sources
If a message claims to be from a bank, card issuer, delivery service or another organization, ORIGO can compare it against verified official information and help you reach the real source.
Verification history
Your previous checks are kept organized so you can review past results and revisit them when needed.
Simple. Clear. Before you tap.
ORIGO — Verify the source.
