Clearer wording in Settings: a party can open the account link and check their account without installing the app.

A clearer khata: pick a month and see what was owed when it began, the milk and money in it, and the balance on its last day. The period total under the khata is now bigger and easier to spot.

Added someone by mistake? A customer or vendor with no entries or payments can now be deleted. Switch off customers you no longer deal with — their account stays, and the Parties list shows active ones first. And every date filter now has "Last month".

Meet Bartan: a short guided tour on first launch — choose your language, add your first customer or vendor, and set up how messages go. Prefer SMS to WhatsApp? Choose it in Settings. WhatsApp messages now show the right balance after each entry, and payment receipts carry the account link.

Record payment with the entry: right under the amount, mark it as fully paid, part paid or on credit, by cash or UPI. And the Entries button now opens all your entries — add a new one from inside.

Entry reminders were not arriving on some phones. Fixed. And if notifications are switched off, Settings now says so and takes you straight to the setting — with a button to send yourself a test reminder.

You stay signed in — no more logging in every day.

• Say the entry: hold the + and say "Shyam teen litre gaay" — the form fills in, you check and save. Hindi or English, on the phone; nothing leaves it • One shared khata, one book: a row either side writes is on both pages, waiting for the other's yes; edits and payments follow • Worth a look: once a day, money owed with nothing paid for a month, a regular party gone quiet — with the statement one tap away • Ask: who owes most, this month vs last, one party's month — answered in a sentence from your own figures • Compare books; a profile photo; verified mobile by OTP; app lock; Sign in with Apple • Buyer, vendor or both — the app shows your side; days with no milk show a dash

The month, told honestly. • A day that passed with no milk now shows a dash — on the calendar, in the entries list, and in each party's ledger. An empty square used to mean both "nothing came" and "not yet". • The calendar no longer offers days that have not happened. Milk cannot be recorded before it is delivered, and a payment cannot be dated forward. • A big + in the middle of the bar. It is the tap made most often, so it is the one that looks different — and it opens a new entry straight away. • Changing your password no longer asks for the current one. You are already signed in.
