Photos and videos from your iPhone or iPad into folders by date and trip on your own disk, every file verified. One cable, one click. Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone or iPad to your Mac or an external drive, sorted into folders by date and trip, with every file verified. One cable, one click. Thousands of photos are easy to take and hard to find later. Photo Transfer turns them into folders you can browse in Finder: a day, a month, a week in Rome, each named with the date and the place. The files stay yours, in the folder or on the drive you choose, and each one is checked byte for byte before it gets its final name. KEY FEATURES • Folders by date, event or trip, so a weekend away is one folder, not a pile of days • Folder names built from blocks: year, month, city, country, event, with your own separators and casing • Live Photos, RAW and edits kept together and dated by the original, so nothing gets separated • Verified copies and a history of every transfer: what landed where, file by file, so you can clear the phone weeks later without guessing • Resume after an unplugged cable: the transfer continues from the same file • Only new photos on the next run: the app compares with what is already in the destination • Originals byte for byte, or HEIC to JPEG and HEVC to H.264 on the way • Any destination: a folder on the Mac, an external drive, a NAS MADE FOR MAC See the folders before a single file is copied. Uncheck what should wait, rename what you like, press Transfer. Nothing is installed on the phone and nothing on it is changed: the device is opened read-only. No account, no cloud, no data collected. FREE TO START Download free and transfer up to 50 snapshots a day. One purchase removes the limit for good and works with Family Sharing. No subscription. Requires macOS 15 or later and an iPhone or iPad connected with a USB cable. Questions: phototransfer.app/support

NEW: TRANSFER HISTORY Every transfer is now kept on the Mac. Open History › Transfer History (or the button on the summary) to see what landed where, file by file: which copies are on the Mac, which were already there, which failed and why, whether a Live Photo came over whole. Every column filters like a spreadsheet, a place opens on a map, and a click on a saved name shows the file in Finder, even weeks later. Nothing leaves the Mac: the map is drawn by Apple Maps only when you open it. NEW: A PREFIX FOR FILE NAMES In «How to transfer», choose what goes in front of every file name: nothing, the phone's name, or a word of your own. Two phones' IMG_0001 stop colliding, and a batch can carry its own mark. FIXED Live Photos now arrive whole. The phone lists the video of a Live Photo and a photo's edit file separately from the still, and the app could miss them. Each Live Photo also shows once in a folder card, not as two tiles. Two phones into one folder: with conversion to JPEG on, a photo from the second phone with the same name was taken for one already copied and skipped. It is now written beside the first one. «Only new» switched off really copies everything again, next to what is already there, without touching the old files. «Photos and videos in separate folders» no longer separates a Live Photo from its video or an edit from its original. Videos are converted to H.264 again; the previous build silently kept the original. The report now says when a file stayed as it was. Merged months and years are named by their dates, such as «2026-05 — 2026-06», and the folder for photos without a date has a proper name. Place names are fetched in both Russian and English, so switching the language of names no longer waits for the network. The copies the phone keeps with «Optimize iPhone Storage» on are now called optimized copies, as Apple calls them.
