Your light is always fading. Fly close to the wood to feed it - close enough is brilliant, too close is over. How deep can you get?
One firefly. One long fall into the dark. Your light is always dying.
Gloamfly is an endless one-thumb arcade game about the nerve to fly close to what can kill you.
THE ONE RULE
Your glow fades every second you are alive. The only way to feed it is to graze the wood — pass near a log without touching it. Near enough and your light flares. A fraction closer and the run is over.
Play it safe and the dark takes you. Play it greedy and the wood does. Every metre is that choice, made again.
WHAT IS DOWN THERE
• An endless descent that never repeats and never stops getting faster
• Four zones - the Understory gives way to Deepwood, Rootfall, and finally the Hollow, each colder and less forgiving than the last
• A line marking your personal best, waiting somewhere below you
• Game Center leaderboards - all-time and weekly, so a bad week is never the end of it
• Twelve fireflies to unlock with sparks earned by grazing
HONEST ABOUT ITS OWN RULES
The fireflies are colour and trail only. Not one of them makes the game easier, and nothing in Gloamfly can be bought with money. Your depth is yours.
No accounts. No sign-in. No timers telling you to come back tomorrow. Open it, dive, die, dive again.
