A nudge when the new daily challenge is ready. One notification a day, around the time you usually play, and only if you say yes. Switch it off in Settings.

More to see when a run ends. The end screen now shows your best of today next to your best ever, tells you how far off your record you were when you came close, and counts the days you have played in a row — free play included.

See who else is flying. Under every map in Scores you now find the world's best three and the players just above and below you, with name and score. And Settings now shows at a glance whether Game Center is signed in and the leaderboards are reachable.

Emergency landings now always land. A low-fuel aircraft that missed its approach used to circle until the game ended; it now gets a fresh approach, and the approach always stays on screen.

Leaderboards actually work now. Your score reaches Game Center, and you see where you stand right away: on the end screen and under Scores. On the daily challenge your friends are listed too, with their score and their place. New: Norwegian. And if you would rather keep just your own top 10 on this device, switch Game Center off in Settings.
