Zikporx VPN turns your own Ubuntu server into a private VPN, automatically. Works with a cloud VPS or a server at home. No technical expertise required. Enter your server's address, SSH username, and password. Zikporx VPN handles the rest: installing the VPN service, opening the firewall port, configuring secure tunneling, and connecting your iPhone, all in minutes. WHY ZIKPORX VPN? • Your server, your rules: no third-party VPN provider ever sees your traffic • Works anywhere: use a low-cost cloud VPS from any provider, or your own home server • No tracking: Zikporx never receives your traffic or logs; everything stays on your server • Automatic setup: no command line, no manual configuration • Clear diagnostics: if something blocks the connection, setup tells you exactly what to fix • Fast, modern encryption with a Zikporx custom-built Noise protocol • Full tunnel VPN: all traffic routes through your server REQUIREMENTS: • An Ubuntu 24.04 server (x86-64): a cloud VPS or a home server • SSH access with a user that has sudo privileges • A public IP address or hostname • On a VPS: allow the VPN's UDP port (42763 by default) in your provider's cloud firewall, if it has one. The VPS must support TUN (standard KVM virtual servers do) • On a home server: forward the VPN's UDP port on your router PRIVACY: Your SSH login is stored securely in your device's Keychain. It's used only to restart the VPN service on your own verified server, and it is never sent to anyone else. VPN keys are generated on your device and stay there. All VPN traffic flows directly between your iPhone and your own server.
