Swap the fonts websites use for the ones you like: any family on your Mac, or your own font files. Everywhere, or one site at a time. Safonti replaces the fonts websites use with fonts you choose. Pick a sans-serif, a serif and a monospace family once, and every page in Safari is set in them. CHOOSE FONTS YOU ALREADY HAVE Safonti lists every family installed on your Mac, including fonts you installed yourself. Bold, italic and in-between weights use the family's real faces, so text keeps its structure. OR BRING YOUR OWN Drop in WOFF2, WOFF, TTF or OTF files. Safonti reads the family name, weight and style from the font itself and serves the files to pages as web fonts. Fonts you installed in your own Library folder, which Safari normally hides from websites, work the same way: pick one and Safonti offers to import it. TWO WAYS TO APPLY Standard mode swaps the common web fonts (Helvetica, Arial, Georgia, Menlo and friends) and, if you like, the browser defaults that most pages rely on. Aggressive mode puts your fonts on everything except icon fonts. Both can be set globally or per site. RESTYLE JUST ONE PART OF A PAGE Use the element picker from the toolbar button: point at a headline, a sidebar or a code block, choose a selector from the suggestions, pick a font, preview it live and save it for that site or for every site. PER-SITE CONTROL Turn Safonti off, or switch modes, for any site from the toolbar popup. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Safonti runs entirely on your Mac. It has no servers, no accounts and no analytics, makes no network connections, and never sends anything anywhere. It needs access to every website because it restyles text on every page; what it reads there stays in your browser. Safonti is a Safari extension. After installing, turn it on under Extensions in Safari's Settings and choose Always Allow on Every Website. The app walks you through it.
