Add an AI-powered stereo 3D effect with processing that runs locally on your Mac. 3D Screen Mirroring shares a selected display, app window, or videos from a folder with the separately installed companion Quest app or a compatible browser. Adjust your virtual screen, picture, and depth. YOUR SCREEN, ON A VIRTUAL DISPLAY • Share a full display or a single app window, with sound. • Turn flat content into an estimated stereo 3D effect. • Switch between screen, window, and folder sources while connected. • Save and apply stream and depth presets. • Approve each viewing device with a pairing code before sharing starts. WATCH VIDEOS FROM YOUR MAC • Choose a folder of supported local videos, including MP4 and MOV. • Browse videos and subfolders from your viewing device. • Play, pause, seek, skip between videos, and repeat a video or folder. • Select matching SRT, WebVTT, or supported embedded text subtitles. • Adjust subtitle size and background opacity in VR. • Add AI 3D to your local videos without opening a separate video player. Local videos must be unprotected and supported by macOS. Playback controls require an updated compatible viewer. Folder playback does not need Screen Recording permission. CHOOSE YOUR 3D EXPERIENCE • Select Quality, Balanced, or Performance depth modes. • Adjust 3D strength, depth detail, and AI hardware settings. • Save separate depth presets for each mode. AI depth estimation and stereo image creation run locally on your Mac. Results and speed depend on your hardware, content, and settings. AI-generated depth may show visual artifacts. CUSTOMIZE YOUR STREAM • Choose automatic quality, 720p, 1080p, 1440p, or 4K. • Select 15, 20, 25, 30, 45, 60, 70, 120, or 144 fps. • Choose Auto, H.264, or H.265 / HEVC with compatible viewers. • Auto uses a compatibility stream when needed. • Get playback suggestions when the connection or viewer struggles. Available settings and performance depend on your Mac, source, viewer, connection, and 3D settings. Selecting a resolution or frame rate does not guarantee playback performance. Higher frame-rate settings do not add frames to local videos. EXPLORE THE 3D DEPTH TOOL Compare a sample video, its depth map, and generated left- and right-eye views. Adjust depth settings, check processing performance, and save presets for your stream. IMMERSIVE VIEWING ON QUEST Use the separately installed companion Quest app over Wi-Fi or USB. Adjust screen size, curvature, flat or stereo layouts, image fit, and ambient lighting, including Dream and TV effects. Quest Browser supports immersive viewing through the USB tunnel described in the included guide. Its normal Wi-Fi connection supports regular screen viewing. Compatible phone, tablet, and computer browsers can view the stream without a headset. CONNECT OVER WI-FI OR USB Use the same local Wi-Fi network, or USB with compatible Android and Quest devices. USB requires Developer Mode, USB debugging, and a separately configured ADB tunnel. A setup guide is included. Your video and sound travel over the local connection. No cloud streaming service is required. WHAT YOU NEED • macOS 14 or later. • A base M4 Mac or another Apple silicon Mac offering equivalent or higher performance. • A compatible viewer on the same local network or through a USB tunnel. This app does not provide remote desktop control, run PCVR apps, or support PCVR headsets. Protected content may restrict screen or audio capture. FREE TRIAL AND SUBSCRIPTIONS Try screen mirroring and AI 3D free for 5 days. The trial does not charge automatically.
