Drop a video or photos and get web-ready files: a smaller MP4, a poster frame, JPEG, PNG or AVIF photos — or a looping clip instead of a static screenshot. HTML included. Every video you put on a website is too big. A screen recording lands at half a gigabyte, a graded export at a hundred megabytes, and the page crawls. The usual fix is a converter with three hundred settings you don't know how to pick. EasyShrink has one setting. Drop a file, choose a size, click Shrink. WHAT YOU GET • Videos become web MP4s. A 490 MB screen recording comes out at 24 MB and looks the same on the page. You see the estimated size before you render. • A poster frame, picked for you. EasyShrink samples the video and finds a sharp, well-lit frame for the video's preview image. Don't like it? Scrub to your own. It's saved in the same formats you tick for photos. • Photos come out as JPEG, PNG or AVIF — you tick the formats, one or several — at one web size: 2400, 1600 or 640 px wide. A 2 MB photo comes out around 100 KB as AVIF. • A few seconds of video become a movable screenshot — a silent looping MP4 you put on the page instead of a static image. Trim it on a filmstrip, drag the selection around, done. It plays like a GIF at a fraction of a GIF's size. How cool is that? • GIFs convert to looping MP4s, usually 10–20 times smaller. • Every export comes with the HTML on your clipboard — a video tag or an image tag, using your real filenames. Paste it and you're done. If you don't write HTML, ignore the button; the files work anywhere. THE DETAILS • Three sizes. Video: Hero 1920 px, Content 1280 px, Thumbnail 854 px, with sane web bitrates baked in. Photos: 2400, 1600 and 640 px. • Batch: drop a folder of photos, or several videos at once. • Pick your export folder once — EasyShrink remembers it. • Everything runs on your Mac. No uploads, no account, no subscription. THE LIMITS, PLAINLY • Camera-raw formats like BRAW and R3D aren't supported — export a standard video first. • Looping clips are silent by design; that's what autoplay on the web requires. • AVIF needs a recent macOS; on older systems you get JPEG and PNG. • If your file is already web-sized, EasyShrink says so instead of promising savings it can't deliver. Made by a working filmmaker who got tired of hand-feeding HandBrake and Photoshop every time a website needed one video and three images.

Photos now export at one size per preset — Hero 2400 px, Content 1600 px, Thumbnail 640 px — instead of three widths in two formats. You choose the format with tick boxes: JPEG, PNG or AVIF, one or several. Each ticked format is saved as its own file, and EasyShrink remembers your choice. The poster frame for a video uses the same tick boxes. The size estimate and the HTML you copy follow what you ticked. Also new: Help ▸ Rate EasyShrink… opens the review page in the Mac App Store.
