Tower defense, pinball, snake
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Three games free forever, a different one free for everybody every day, and a free run on all the rest. Eleven original arcade games, no ads, no subscription.
Eleven original arcade games. One app. No ads, no subscriptions, nothing tracked.
Three of them are free forever, a different one is free for everybody every single day, and every other game gives you a free run — so you can play today without paying anything.
Arcadalo is a handful of arcade classics rebuilt from scratch, plus a tower defense that plays like nothing else on the store: paddles, bricks, a growing trail, four different shooters, a pinball table, a reflex grid and a fortress to hold, all drawn in glowing neon on ink-black. Every game is one tap from the home screen. Every game keeps your best score.
ELEVEN GAMES, ALL ORIGINAL
• Outpost. A tower defense with no fixed path. Drag out walls before each wave to decide where the enemy is allowed to walk, then hold the line with turrets you can move mid-fight.
• Rally. A paddle duel. Return the ball, five misses and you're out.
• Shatterball. Clear every brick, chain a combo, three misses ends it.
• Coil. Steer a growing trail into pickups without hitting yourself.
• Star Sentry. Rows of enemies march down at you. Your cannon auto-fires; your shields don't last.
• Void Runner. Drift with real momentum, shoot rocks that split into faster pieces. The field wraps; there's nowhere to hide.
• Sky Squadron. A swaying formation peels off and dives at you. Hit them mid-dive for double points.
• Last Line. Falling missiles telegraph the city they're aimed at. Tap to detonate an interceptor. Lose four cities and it's over.
• Hop Rush. Cross the traffic, then the river where only the logs are safe. Reach the top and go again, faster.
• Burrow. Tap the creatures before they duck. One decoy costs you a life, so speed alone isn't enough.
• Flipper Frenzy. A real physics pinball table. Skill-shot the plunge, chain the bumpers, and keep it off the drain.
EASY TO START, HARD TO MASTER
Every game is built as a ladder. The first stage is gentle enough to enjoy on your very first run. After that, each stage introduces exactly one new thing: a fresh hazard, a shrinking window, a resource you can run out of, a greedy shot that pays double and punishes hard. And the speed never stops climbing. Anyone can have a good first minute. The scores near the top take real practice, and you can feel yourself getting better.
A LOOK YOU WON'T FIND ANYWHERE ELSE
Every shape in every game is drawn live as a glowing vector stroke. No photos, no sprite sheets, no stock art. Eleven games, one luminous house style.
SOUND BUILT FOR THE GAME, NOT BOLTED ON
Every hit, near-miss and life lost has its own voice, so you can play by ear as much as by eye, and it's matched with real haptics, not a buzz. An upbeat retro soundtrack plays underneath, with three bonus tracks included in the unlock. All of it toggles off from any screen with one tap, and it never plays over your own music.
SOMETHING TO CHASE
Five hand-written milestones per game, a five-rung mastery ladder, a colour palette you unlock by getting better, and your top three runs kept on the device with your initials on them, the way the cabinet did it.
TRY EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING
Rally, Shatterball and Coil are free forever. Every other game gives you a free run, and one of them gives everybody another free run each day, a different one each time. Nobody should have to buy an arcade game they've never felt.
FAIR BY DESIGN
One-time purchase: every game, every palette and every bonus soundtrack. No ads. No subscriptions. No in-app currency. No energy timers. Nothing tracked, nothing sold, no account, no sign-up.
Plays on iPhone and iPad. Every name and every pixel in Arcadalo is original. Made in Manchester by one person.

A MUCH BETTER START
Opening Arcadalo for the first time now shows you the app rather than describing it: all eleven games and what each one is, the mastery ladder you're climbing, and a straight answer on what's free and what isn't.
• Every game on screen from the first run, in its own color
• The free terms stated plainly — three games free forever, a free run on the rest, one rotating game free for everybody each day
• The unlock is now offered up front with its real price, instead of being buried at the bottom of the game list
• Restore your purchase straight from the welcome screens if you're reinstalling
You can skip the whole thing and start playing in one tap, from the very first screen.
