Notifications are easy to ignore. A duck towing your meeting title across the whole screen is not. Quackpit reads your calendar and flies in before every meeting. Quackpit is a calendar reminder you actually notice. A few minutes before each meeting, a duck flies across your screen towing a banner with the meeting title. It passes over whatever you are working on, including full-screen apps, and it is gone in a few seconds. You cannot click it, drag it, or accidentally dismiss it. It flies past, and you look up. WHY IT WORKS Notifications stack up in a corner and get swiped away unread. Quackpit does the opposite: one deliberate, unmissable interruption at the moment it matters, then nothing at all. READS THE CALENDAR YOU ALREADY HAVE Anything in the Calendar app is covered, including iCloud, Google, Exchange and Office 365. There is no account to create and nothing to connect. All-day events, cancelled events and meetings you have declined are skipped. Several meetings starting at once become a single flight, not several. MAKE IT YOURS - Lead time: 1, 3, 5, 10 or 15 minutes ahead - Livery: eight colours including Snow and Midnight, or Surprise Me for a different duck every flight - Heading: right to left, left to right, or random - Every display: one duck per monitor, all in step - Launch at login, and lives in the menu bar with no Dock icon PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your calendar never leaves your Mac. No account, no analytics, no network requests, no server to send anything to. Quackpit reads the next few events, draws a duck, and forgets them. Built by AskMaddyy.
