Every building has a story. CitySoul puts them on the map.
Tap a building to read who built it, when, and what happened there — with the sources the story is based on. Where a fact rests on a single source, we say so: "one version is…", "the newspaper wrote that…".
STORIES WITH SOURCES
Hundreds of buildings around the world already have a story, and new ones are added every day: hotels and towers, galleries, mosques, parks, markets and old houses.
POINT THE CAMERA
Open the camera tab and point your phone at a building: CitySoul uses GPS and the compass to recognise what you are looking at and opens its story.
BADGES HIDDEN IN BUILDINGS
Badges are hidden in real buildings and move every week. You can only collect one when you are actually there — no tapping the map from your sofa. Keep a weekly streak, fill albums and be the first finder of a building.
WALKING ROUTES
Follow routes by guides and the CitySoul editors, with the path between stops drawn on the map.
TELL YOUR OWN STORY
Lived or worked in a building? Add what you know. Every story is checked before it is published, and anyone can report a story or hide an author.
No sign-up: the app creates a guest profile, and you can move it to a new phone with a private recovery code or delete it at any time.
