WATER QUALITY, DECODED
Log a test in seconds. Every reading is scored against a target range for your tank type, and the tank gets one status: in range, check this, or out of range.
▸ 13 parameters: temperature, pH, GH, KH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, TDS, salinity, phosphate, calcium, magnesium and alkalinity
▸ 5 tank types with editable default ranges: freshwater, coldwater, brackish, saltwater and reef
▸ Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and phosphate are treated as toxic: any exceedance is flagged, not "slightly high"

ALERTS THAT EXPLAIN THEMSELVES
An out-of-range reading raises an alert with a plain-English note: what the parameter is, what usually moves it and what keepers commonly do next. A second bad reading escalates the alert; a reading back in range resolves it.
REMINDERS SCHEDULED ON YOUR PHONE
Water changes, feeding slots, water tests and warranty expiry become notifications scheduled on the device itself, so they do not need a connection.

Readings, notes and photos live in the app's private storage on your phone and are not uploaded to us. Logging, charts, the catalogue and reminders work offline; buying or restoring Premium needs a connection. A backup is one file you keep wherever you like. There is no sync between devices: moving phones is a backup and a restore.
FREE AND PREMIUM
Free, with no time limit: one tank, up to 10 living animals, water tests, alerts and guidance, reminders and feeding schedules, the catalogue and compatibility check, the journal, equipment, the expense log and 90 days of chart history.
Premium adds unlimited tanks and animals, full chart history, expense insights, backup and restore, five extra accent colours and every decoration. The 90-day window is a display limit: every reading is kept.
SUBSCRIPTION
Premium is an auto-renewable subscription, monthly or yearly. The price is shown in the app before you buy and is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.

Target ranges are indicative starting points based on published care ranges; adjust them for your own tank. Compatibility results are an informational estimate, not a guarantee. If you are concerned about an animal's health, consult an aquatic veterinarian.

Before you continue: a one-time screen to accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. New installs do this on the first onboarding step.
Units: choose Celsius or Fahrenheit and litres or US gallons in Settings; every temperature and volume in the app follows.
Compatibility check: large, non-peaceful fish are now flagged against much smaller tank mates (for example angelfish with neon tetras), and brackish species are flagged in freshwater and marine tanks.
Reef defaults: wider starting ranges for salinity, alkalinity, pH, temperature, calcium and magnesium. Existing tanks keep their saved targets; use Reset in Tank settings to apply the new defaults.
Accessibility: text scales up to 200 %, every icon button has a label, and status colours meet contrast guidelines on light and dark backgrounds.
Fixes: warning alerts read "Worth checking: …", history charts no longer dip below a parameter's possible range, journal photos load faster, and restoring a backup validates the file more strictly.
