Eighty-nine combinations, thirty programs, and an interval computed from what each combination costs to throw. No account, no camera, no network. A round clock that calls muay thai combinations out loud, so a bag session runs with the phone in a pocket and nothing to look at. The interval is the product. Most round timers call on a fixed beat. A jab-cross takes about a second to throw; a jab-cross-hook-low kick takes three and a half, and the bag then swings away for most of another. Combo Caller times every call from the cycle of the strikes in it plus the bag's own return, so the gap after a low kick is longer than the gap after a jab and you are never rushed into a combination you have not finished. Eighty-nine combinations, and none of them invented. Numbered hands, hands into legs, the Dutch four-count, elbows and knees, clinch entries, counters and feints. Every one is in the app because a named coach or a published curriculum put it there, and every combination screen says why it works, who it works against and how to throw it. Thirty programs, and every one that calls a combination is built on a named source. A program with no source fails the app's own test suite, so the rule is held by the data and not by good intentions. A program draws between five and thirteen combinations, because a pool wider than that brings a combination back about once a month and nothing is learned at that spacing. Build your own if none of the thirty fit. Combinations arrive in pieces. A new combination is called short the first few times and grows a strike at a time, and it only ever stops on a group boundary — a feint and the strike it buys are one call or no call. It runs in your pocket. The screen stays on while you want it and the coach keeps calling once it is off, through the silent switch, with the round and the clock on the lock screen. Keep your own music playing if you want; calls duck it and it comes back. It remembers what you did. Every call is logged. Fifteen weeks of history, fourteen days of bars for each combination, a round-by-round breakdown of any past session, and a CSV of the lot. What it will never do. There is no camera and no sensor, so the app makes no claim about your technique — it counts the calls it made and says so. There is no account, no sign-up and no network connection of any kind: the whole thing, voice included, is on the phone. Nothing you do here leaves the device, because there is nowhere for it to go. Calls come in blocks now. A program repeats one combination for about a minute, with a three-call countdown at the end of the block, before moving to the next one; drawing a new combination on every call is still there as SHUFFLED, under ADVANCED. Eleven combinations gyms actually call were added, and the library now holds eighty-nine. A bell closes the session. The round bar shows the round to come as empty rather than full, so a full bar means a round that is done. Linking moves between combinations can be switched off, and the app now runs on iOS 16.4, an iPhone 8 and up.
