In Lantern Market, every order is something to figure out. How many apples go in the basket? Which parcel is heavier? Is there enough tea for everyone? Children explore by tapping, dragging, pouring and trying again, with spoken guidance along the way.
A whole market to explore
Visit eight stalls: produce, bakery, fish, flowers, cheese, toys, tea and lanterns. Familiar objects turn early math into something your child can see and move:
• Count and compare groups, add hidden objects and take some away.
• Copy patterns and fit shapes into place.
• Share equally and explore fractions by cutting cheese into halves.
• Compare lengths, weigh objects, balance scales and pour different amounts.
• Find the right position and count out play money.
Learn. Earn coins. Play!
Helping customers earns play coins for ten short games. Pop bubbles and balloons, knock down tins, fly a lantern, steer a paper boat and catch fruit. Stack crates, hop over obstacles with a bunny, play pinball, bounce a ball to clear blocks and guide marbles along winding trails.
The games start gently and adjust as your child plays. Ask the friendly badger for a demonstration, pause an unfinished turn and come back to it later. Then return to the market for another order.
Play in your child's language
Friendly characters speak their requests, offer help and celebrate each step. Replay a request whenever your child needs to hear it again.
Choose from 15 spoken languages: English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, Polish, Turkish, Hindi, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Japanese and Korean. Set the menus and parent pages separately from the language your child hears.
