- The field is now purely side-on. Moving into and out of the screen is gone; up is for ladders, doors and up-thrusts. - Valleys now cut through the ground, with bridges over them. Cross a broken bridge with a double jump. Fall, and you start the place over. - Each place now has several exits. Which exit you take decides where you come out on the map. To take another road, go back in and leave by another exit. The gate back the way you came is always open, even before the keeper falls. - On the way back, some of the enemies you felled return, and some now appear behind you. - Zombies and skeletons haunt the places of bone. Zombies claw their way out of the ground; skeletons pull themselves back together once. - Whoever has a swing blocked is briefly paralysed. Guarding is now how an attack begins. - Answer a keeper's up-thrust with a down-thrust, and a down-thrust with an up-thrust: both are thrown back, unharmed. - For those who find action hard, a door now offers "fight by command": choose attack, guard or magic, and high or low. Ten hits through wins. - All thirty places are now open to everyone. One ad appears when you leave a place, never while you play. A one-time purchase removes ads (if you already bought the full version, you have no ads already).

- Keepers now wait in a room beyond a door. One on one, and they use the same arts you do: answer an up-thrust with a down-thrust, a down-thrust with an up-thrust. - The great dragons have ultimate attacks that carve away a share of your health. Raise your shield to soften the blow; they will never finish you with it. The dragons hit harder now, too. - Magic differs by element: flame throwers and pillars of fire, rocks dug up and hurled, bone spikes, homing spirit flames. - Fit a different ring to each charge stage. - Equipment now belongs to each ally, so the shops matter again. - Start the next lap straight from the ending.

- All 23 forms redrawn: the twelve allies and eleven fused forms, with art for every pose — walk, jump, guard, hurt, attack and thrust. - New looks for several allies: Bones is now a bandaged revenant, Wisp a spirit of blue flame, and Scarab an underground goblin. - The Phoenix now flies like a bird: beat your wings in mid-air, hold the jump button to glide. - Sizes rebalanced across forms, so the heavy ones look heavy. - Blocking now holds your ground, with dust kicking up at your feet.

- Sharper text. Higher render resolution, and the weapon shop now puts the name and the description on separate lines. - Your equipped weapon now shows on your body. Swords, daggers, spears, greatswords and axes each have their own shape, and the arm swings with them. - Fused forms can hold weapons too, inheriting what the two merged allies could wield. - Finding an important item now stops the world and holds it up for you to see. - The dragon's chest spins horizontally as it descends, and opens when you touch it. - Several allies redrawn (Horus, Khnum, and Sobek — now Montu). - Fixed the status panel overlapping the party-swap buttons.

New equipment screen — change gear on the map or mid-dungeon. Rings now change how your magic flies. Added boss death sequences and a treasure chest from the dragons. Reworked the walk animation and added enemy variants.

Added Italian language support. Polished the map screen.
